Appointments In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
Appointment Reminder Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notification was received timely. Make sure you confirm via the reminder text message that is sent to you.
Late Arrival All appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Our appointments are specially timed to accommodate a fantastic experience, check out, clean up, and set up for the next client. A charge of 50% may be applied due to it being considered a "missed appointment” Please call ahead of time if you are running late to avoid charge.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policies and Fees Your beauty treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a 50% cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and Estheticians is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our Esthetician will be functioning in an “on call” status and can have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our Esthetician for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. This policy allows us to retain great service.
Inclement Weather Policy CBQ standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice incur a cancellation fee. During the winter months, we are willing to make an exception to that rule. If the metro area is under a winter weather advisory and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 24 hour window at no charge. It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply.
Health Conditions Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy or special needs which may affect your services.
Payments During COVID we are a cashless establishment. We went cashless for a few reasons: transactions are quicker and make for easy seamless checkout, we can track your purchases and most cash is unsanitary as it’s passed from hand to hand. We accept the following for payments: Credit/Debit Cards, Zelle, Cash App, Google Pay.
Prices and Services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the Esthetician upon check out at the front desk with cash you will be provided an envelope for discretion, or Zelle/CashApp.
Check In We ask that you please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time. You will have to sign in to our client consent forms. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests.
Personal Belongings Please leave all valuable items at home or keep them with you at all times. CBQ is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Services We are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any spa treatment series that are purchased. We will, however, exchange them for spa credit of equal value.
Modesty Concerns/What To Wear It is never required that you are unclothed in at our facial bar. Estheticians are well trained which means that they will keep you covered at all times during the service. We want to make sure that you are comfortable, so please let us know if you have questions.
Professionalism Our trained Estheticians are here solely to help improve your wellness and relaxation. If an Esthetician ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately and direct you to the front desk.
Cell Phones We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones to silent upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your Esthetician should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your services.
Gift Cards purchased online can be used towards the purchase of services and products. Purchases will be deducted from the card value until the balance reaches zero. Gift cards may not be returned, applied to previously purchased services or products, or used to purchase additional Gift cards. CBQ is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards must be presented at check out. Inform us that you are using a gift card when booking an appointment. If you forget to bring your gift card to your appointment, you will be responsible for payment. The purchaser of a gift card is responsible to notify the recipient of our gift card policy. The recipient should review our cancellation policy and gift card policy, prior to booking.
No Children/Visitors allowed unless being serviced. We are unable to accommodate children or visitors accompanying clients in the relaxation areas of the spa including those complying with our no kids policy. This policy is strictly enforced.
Open Concept Air CBQ is an open-air, semi-private space with relaxing music and smiling faces! Whether it be a place you call home for all of your facial services or a space you want to host your event at, we welcome you! Again, we want to be completely transparent with all of our customers- this is not your average quiet, dark spa. This is a space where you can feel comfortable having a conversation while being mindful of the clients in the room next to you!
