Facial Bar Policy
Appointments: In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
Appointment Reminder: Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notification was received timely.
Late Arrival: All appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
Cancellation/Rescheduling/Fees: Your beauty treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance; 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule groups of three or more or three or more treatments. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and Estheticians is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our Esthetician will be functioning in an “on call” status and can have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our Esthetician for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. This policy allows us to retain great service.
Inclement Weather: CBQ standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 24-hours notice incur a cancellation fee. During the winter months, we are willing to make an exception to that rule. If the metro area is under a winter weather advisory and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 24-hour window at no charge. It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply.
Health Conditions & COVID-19: Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy or special needs which may affect your services.
Prices and Services: Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.
Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in the price of service or packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the Esthetician upon check out at the front desk with cash only, you will be provided an envelope for discretion or you can also Zelle to them personally.
Check in: We ask that you please arrive at your appointment time. New clients will receive an email to pre-fill out a client profile necessary to tailor our services to your personal needs. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly.
Personal Belongings: Please leave all valuable items at home or keep them with you at all times. CBQ is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Return On Products: It is our mission to provide you with the highest quality of skin and beauty care products with your services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your own home! In the event you purchase any of our products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 7 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately we cannot provide any refunds for returned products. Instead a store credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at CBQ.
Modesty Concerns/What To Wear: It is never required that you are unclothed in at our facial bar. Estheticians are well trained in which means that they will keep you covered with a towel at all times during the service. We want to make sure that you are comfortable, so please let us know if you have questions.
Professionalism: Our trained Estheticians are here solely to help improve your wellness and relaxation. If an Esthetician ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately and direct you to the front desk.
Cell Phones: We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones to silent upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your Esthetician should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your services.
Gift/E-Gift Cards: Gift cards purchased online can be used towards the purchase of services and products. Purchases will be deducted from the card value until the balance reaches zero. Gift cards and E-Gift cards may not be returned, applied to previously purchased services or products, or used to purchase additional Gift cards or E-Gift cards. CBQ is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards must be presented at check out. Inform us that you are using a gift card when booking an appointment. If you forget to bring your gift card to your appointment, you will be responsible for payment. The purchaser of a gift card is responsible to notify the recipient of our gift card policy. The recipient should review our cancellation policy and gift card policy, prior to booking. Gift cards do expire within one year of purchase date, however if we donated a gift card it will have a 6 month expiration date.
No Children/Visitors: No children or visitors allowed unless being serviced. We are unable to accommodate children or visitors accompanying clients in the relaxation areas of the spa including those complying with our no kids policy. This policy is strictly enforced.
Membership Package: Our 6 month membership package includes monthly facials, brow waxing, & brazlian waxing at a discount rate. As part of your membership, your monthly treatment needs to be redeemed within 30 days of each month. Membership treatments that are not used within the month will rollover and can be used up to 6 months. You may use one rollover per month. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. You will be charged the 6 month fee upon registration. The card used will be retained on file for cancellations or no shows fees only. A member may terminate this agreement at any time provided that at least thirty days notice. Membership is non-transferable and benefits are exclusive to the member only.
